How long have you worked at LabFinder?

I joined LabFinder full-time in 2016, the year we went live.

What did you do before starting with LabFinder? What did you go to school for?

Prior to joining LabFinder, I worked on the clinical side of medicine in cardiology working directly with physicians and patients. I have worked with Dr. Segal for almost 5 years now in Manhattan. My education and background play a big role in my ability to influence user interface design and to implement growth strategies across all departments. I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in the College of Arts & Sciences, majoring in Cardiovascular Technology.

How is LabFinder different from other companies/organizations in the industry?

We are hyper-focused on the consumer. We want to help consumers find and schedule diagnostic testing so they can get the treatments and answers that they need.

What’s your favorite thing about working at LabFinder?

I love the people. I love that we all believe in making healthcare more accessible and transparent for all patients. I love that I get to focus on companywide initiatives, growth strategies, product development, partnerships opportunities, and long-term relationships with LabFinder clients. It’s always interesting and we are truly working to make healthcare better.

What do you like to do in your spare time? What are your hobbies / passions?

I love trying new restaurants, sailing around New England, and exploring Manhattan with my Goldendoodle, Oliver and my husband, PJ.
